    Post New Computer

Basically im wondering if this system spec is good enough (especially the GFX card) to run wow on decent settings, my old computer had a similar spec just with a different graphics card (nvidia 9300GE). The computer I am looking at has a spec of:

Processor AMD Athlon II x4 620 Processor
    - 2.6 GHz
    - 2.0 GHz HT (4000 MT/s)
    - 4x 512 KB L2 Cache
Operating System Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium 64-bit
RAM - 3 GB installed RAM
Graphics card NVIDIA GeForce 9200 graphics processor
    - 256 MB of shared memory
    Hard drive 320 GB

Im wondering how this computer will run in WOTLK,Cata

The Athlon II CPU is a few generations old, 2.6GHz is getting to be on the slow end, and the GeForce 9200 is a horrid video card. I can't say it would run WoW too well, but that depends on what your expectations are.

Well my previous computer would run wow in dala around 20 fps or so, was getting around 15-17 fps in combat in 25 man raids with most settings min just spell effects/view distance maxxed. If this system runs similar i'd say i'd be happy with that.

that is NOT a gaming computer.

Video is a Palit GTS450. Main display is a 24" full HD TV. Secondary display is an ACER 19" lcd at 1440x900.
