We didn't kill him, a dreadlord went inside his brain and started to make him do naughty things. We had to pull a exorcism pally style and after that, he thanked us and like a true dick, didn't help us that much with kiljaeden (I forgot how to spell his name).

Theres a difference between immortal and eternal.
Immortal: Cannot be killed by anything.
Eternal: Cannot be killed naturaly by ageing. Can be killed by unnatural causes i.e. Sword to the heart.

Kalec is in Azshara to seek help among the horde players to stop black dragonflight and twilight hammer assassins to slay Azuregos and him

From my understanding in Cataclysm Kalec is trying to save the rest of the Blue Dragons from extinction at the hands of the Black flight. Since Azuregos is present in Azshara, it's a natural place to start.
