Cata beta problems.

So here yesterday i finaly got my cata beta (yaa) but i'm not here to brag or anything at all.

I have problems, i cannot copy any of my toons to the cata beta, nor can i create premade once (i cant yet create a lvl 1 due to still updateing the beta)

but when i try to copy to the ptr it says i have no world of warcraft account attatched to that battle.net account, i cant post on the officcial cata forums, and i'm unsure about who i should write an email to about this problem (also it takes ages for blizzard to anwser emails)

so i wondered if any1 meybe could help me here? thx. (no i'm not a troll ^_^)

I would hazard a guess that you are not in beta at all, but you did go to a site that a hoax email sent to you linked to.
To see if you really are in beta, log in to your battlenet account, if you see Cataclysm there, then you are, if its not, then you just got scammed.
I would quickly change my email and password for live wow, as you are most likely about to be keylogged.

if you have recieved an official beta invitation (check battle-net) do the following according you play on european server.

log in on battle-net, go to your WOW ptr cataclysm account, go to your url it will say http://us.battle.net/en/

change theUS to EUin the url so it will look like http://EU.battle.net/en/
the page will refresh automatically and then press copy char it should work then.

Nop, its the real, i have downloaded it from www.battle.net.
I also recived a mail from blizzard (checked all links, leads only to blizzard sites)On my account is i use ONLY for wow, no one else know it ( and then my real id friends aswell but meh)

Yep, worked thx alot, and now when you say it, i do remember there being something about it here on mmo-champ, but it was b4 i got my beta, so dident pay attention to it. ty again

Did you try the WoW Cataclysm Beta forum?

I had similar problems, I was logging on the eu.battle.net site but somehow it changed me back to us. Try to change the location to EU (there is an option inside), then it should work. Might take a few tries. Try changing your browser also, use Firefox or IE.

As i said, i cannot post becouse i got no toons to post with. beside, the problem is solved.

the fix proposed here (changing the "US" in the URL to "EU") is working as intended. However, the following might be easier for most people since it saves you from navigating through the aweful battle.net site.

1) login to eu.battle.net using your wow account credentials (direct link: http://eu.battle.net/en/?login)
2) in the same browser window, go to https://www.wow-europe.com/beta-charcopy/
3) click "Copy a Character " and follow instructions
