Hai
I'm actually looking for the ideal setup for LK 10 hc.
A link or whatever is more than welcome.
Thanks, Oyra.

THIS IS CAPSCITY!
Dk and pally tank
holy pally and disc preist
ret pally, combat rogue, ele shammy/boomkin, enhan shammy/frost dk, demo lock if you dont take ele/ or any spec lock if ele in group, Shadow preist
just make sure you hav a shammy althought its not essential but it helps
i think this is pretty much the perfect setup covering all buffs you can get hope this helps
STAR-J4R9-YYK4 use this for 5000 credits in star citizen
Just wondering, why those tanks specifically?
Hunter is nice to have for traps/tranqs too, you can replace either the ret or rogue in the matrix above
honestly I would greatly prefer Druid/Warrior. Safeguard is insanely good for soul reaper (30% damage reduction + absorb next melee (2 with glyph). Druids have great health short cooldowns and great raid synergy (you are always going to want a hunter which will be bringing 10% AP anyway). A fury warrior is harder to fit in (sunder and 5% crit)
dks health cd's aren't that bad
vamparic blood icebound fortitude anti magic shield are fine and they can use hysteria on a dos in the nuke phase
Insert Signiture here.
Show the mages some love people our dps is bat shit crazy
This. Warrior/anything is fine, really. Warrior/DK would probably be the best.
In 10-mans, you mainly look for buff synergy. I'd much rather take a Demo lock than a mage, for example, because the demo lock buffs the healers and all other caster dps.
this fight has been done by 1 tank 1 healer
you should aim for this !
For DPS rogue or hunter at least one of those would be a must(when talking ideal groups) MDs are a HUGE help on raging spirits and adds phase 1. In comparison ele shaman definitely, they give both the demo lock bonus effect and boomkin druid effect, "2 slots for the price of one". Shadow priests, damn they have it good shadow resist, Minor but useful raid healing, and lots of damage here, mind flay spam and val'kyrs helps big time, no need for extra snares. If u already have an ele shaman then mage= warlock, there is no diff. Enhance shaman and frost DK are both good picks.
DPS is a bit open really you only need so much synergy, just classes that can do good dps on LK, even if it is a couple of the same class. Find what buffs u need and put them together.
A class with Replenish pls.
Why DK tanks are preferred on LK is death and decay on phase 1, getting all that crap on the tank immediately and with good threat. DKs do not lack any decent cooldowns, they all have glyphs for almost any tanking CD anyways that increases their effect. Paladins are kind of good for the same reason although AoE stuns is something heavily desired for adds and valks if u are ever short that in a normal comp which makes warriors valued in a sense too. Paladins are just good and grabbing multiple mobs from range too.
Disc is preferred specifically for crap like infest and last phase it does hurt to have for ghosts. Id say resto druids after that.
Holy paladins have great raid cooldowns and superb tank healing.
We did it Sunday with a Paladin/Warrior tanking, Myself (Mage)/DK/Warlock/Boomkin/S.Priest/Fury Warrior for DPS, with a Resto Shaman/Disc Priest healing.
Took a few wipes to get acclimated to the fight without a Hunter, but was easily doable.

Disc Priest + 9 other people that know how to play.
While I'm sure there is a perfect setup, 90% of it is a disc priest.
