    Exclamation Wow and health problems?

Do you have a health problem because of wow?
I think i do... after playing a lot of wow, sometimes 28 hours straight i had a strange noise in my head (like a continous beep)
after i slept (4 hours to wake up and loot agm) the beep was gone
however, for about 3-4 months the beep is not dissapearing. I can hear it at any time. The first month was anoying but now i m getting used to hear a continous beep.
It's not dissapearing if i sleep.
Does anyone have the same problem?
Also, is it possible to have a brain damage?

Maybe take a break, if playing is causing this then you really need to stop or severly slow down.

I got more sugar in my diet since I made more tea.

Yeah and as the other two have said, if thats happening you should take a break...You should never be playing a game 28 hours straight anyways, thats horrible.

Agreed. All things in moderation, friend.

I recently had a friend say "Have you looked at people that play WoW? They look like they've been up all night doing coke".

    Yes, yes they do.

The moral of the story is that playing WoW is as bad as doing drugs. Just with less sex.

Oddly enough this isn't because of WoW, its because you have a problem. There's a reason why in one the the tips when loading screens it sais "
Remember to take all things in moderation (even WoW)." its always easier to blame something else.

I've had a ringing in my ears since I was around 14. Probably before that. I'm just so used to it, it's like I can hear normally through it. I think it's called drummer's ear or something. Caused by constantly being around loud noises without proper ear protection. I don't really think that's what you have but I spose it's possible.

This was my first thought as well.

But, as always with medical related questions, the answer you're looking for is:
    GO SEE A DOCTOR!

Seen I take a break every hour and work out in that fifteen to thirty minute break; not really.

But as the other fine individuals have stated; seek council with your local doctor for that strange 'beep'.

Nope, can't think of any reason you are getting health problems

    The tree will go limb

Anyway, like most peopple said here.
Go see a doctor and take more breaks.

I'm no doctor but maybe you already had brain damage.....
C'mon playing for 28 hours straight isn't good and you should know that.
Sure if a new expansion/raid content comes out, it isn't that bad to play for more then 28 hours straight but you need your rest after that (more then 4 hours).
And don't do it on a weekly basis.

I am probably responding to a troll, but just in case:

Why on Earth would you, for three or four months, ignore a beeping noise in your inner ear? Then when you've finally had enough, come on here and ask other people if they have carpel tunnel?

Go see a doctor. It is probably serious. And even though it is probably not linked to WoW, playing it for 28 hours can bring about a series of other health problems.
