The 12694 build added some more models beyond Ysera and the Deathwing Whelp. Unbound Fire Elemental, Twilight Ascendant of Air and some more. One of them is the Djinn (I think he's an efreet type of guy we'll see in Skywall or its 5-man instance).

A djinn is a mischievous demon of Arabic lore and origin.

not exectly, djin's are the race of demigod angels while Aifrits(عفريت) are below djin's in hierarchy and are commonly considered as demonic creatures. There are no exact proof of alignment of djin's to either demonic or "sacred" forces.

when i studied in dubai i came across many arabic friends one of them told me about the jins and he said that the devil himself leads the evil side of the jin race according to their cultre
also jin and genie are basically the same in arabic
and ifreet stands for demon or devil

Well, it's a strange premise, they are all related to each other, Jin being the "race" or "spirits of the desert" if you would like. All of them are very fickle spirits in Arabian folklore, I just describe the relations of them and the heirarchy.

Jin's are often explained for standstorms and the like, with dustdevils being genies and huge hurrcane like sandstorms often being refered to as Dinjinns

In most modern fantasy, as heavily influenced by D&D as it all is, Djinn are prolifically associated with elementals rather than demons. WoW seems to be following that tradition.
