I doubt there will be a shark mount in Cataclysm. It will more than likely be a boat (if anything) rather than just a buff in Vashjir that makes you move faster.

on the beta there is a quest chain to find an underwater mount (ends up being a Seahorse) and during this chain, one of the things you try and tame is a shark. So yeah, you sort of get a shark mount... but only temporarily, and it's more of a vehicle.

Oh, my mistake. Just remembered. You don't actually tame a shark for that quest... the things you try and tame are: a Naga (who is none too happy about it) a turtle, and much more... but you don't ever try and tame a shark for that quest.
You do however ride a hungry shark as a vehicle to eat some Naga... and the Shark vehicle handles quite nicely, would be a good mount.What are the three things a wise man fears?

The shark mount would have to come equipped with rockets (for air travel) and mechano legs (For land travel)
then I'd be interested.
