Leveling in Northrend - Extremely Boring?!

Right now i got 4 characters (Mage, Warr, DK, Priest) at level 70, 5 level 80 characters (Sham, Druid, Hunter, Lock, Rogue) and lvl 1 loladin bank char.

However whenever i try to play any of my 70 chars in Northrend, i get instantly bored to death.
All zones in Northrend are very extremely boring to me, and i did the highest level zones in Outland.

I do not know how am i going to reach lvl80 on those 4 alts, since i fall asleep as soon as i even approach any Northrend leveling zone.
I HATE Tanking and Healing, so all those chars are DPS specced - hence it is always a 30 minute waiting timer in LFG system.

Does anyone here have any advice on how to get these chars to lvl80?

Suck it up? In all seriousness you're going to have to level them some how, and of course it's going to be boring after the first five times.

Try to level in places you haven't leveled before/ wait for the queues.

If you have luck, your server is good at AV in the 70-79 bracket.
Gives a nice amount of xp.

Tough it out. Even if you wait till Cataclysm to level those four toons, you'll still need to level to at least 75 in Northrend before you go back to Eastern Kingdom or Kalimdor to pick up the new quests. Might as well push through now since there isn't much left to do between now and the expansion.

Facing the same problem over here...going for the 4th char there and as i approach lvl 68, i'm starting to feel bored, just thinking about northrend :| and that might be the reason why i got my rogue and dk stopped at 70. Hope my priest (the one im lvling now) can sucessfully pass the "northrend fever"

BG's? You said you hate tanking and healing, how do you feel about PvP?

You have 5 characters at level 80, obviously you will find it bored doing the same thing for a 6th time.. you need a new hobby I guess, if WoW is becoming a chore then just fucking quit.

    1. I think the zones were fun originally, but if you've got 4 characters in that range it's tough to enjoy.
    2. 70+ also takes a lot more time per level than anywhere prior, so that makes it feel slower/less important/more boring.
    3. I would recommend you just make a contract with yourself to do it this way: As often as you can (daily with all, one char/day, whatever) say "I'll log on and queue with a character, and in the meantime I will quest" (or instead of quest, farm materials?)

You'll have constant rest xp so that does help, and it'd be a small amount of time to push through in any given stretch.

Alternatively you could pvp with them.
Even more alternatively, you could play another game for a bit.. I find that tends to help me get over boredom with WoW much more quickly.

Northrend questing is really bad, it is fun once and then you hate it. In Cataclysm they will be reforming all the old quests so 1-85 will be just like 70-80 is now
I loved the quests where they told you to go kill 20 of these, 15 of those. Then you could just get out there and do your thing, in Northrend there is so many gimmicks that destroy your leveling flow

If you aren't going to quest then I'm afraid you're going to have to fix this problem, unless you do 20 million BGs, but they usually have a longer wait time pre-80 than random dungeons do.

If you really do hate healing or tanking, maybe wait those 30 minutes in the dungeon finder, or else spread things out a bit - for example, do one dungeon a day and 5 quests a day on a single character, then move on to another character or wait until the next day.

I understand the problem, Northrend now seems as tired and dull as Outland did at the end of TBC, but if you really want to level your alts you'll find a way.

Do what rabbimojo said, and along with that you either get a 2nd monitor to your computer or a television close you, on which you run several movies / series on, that way you have 10% attention to WoW and 90% attention to your movie and you might find it more enjoyable

if u get bored then go play hello kitty island adventures.

Now being a bit serious, just go pvp or level in zones u've never been befor instead of always the same quests..

I simply can't stand levelling in Northrend either, I'm currently working on my 9th and 10th character in there.
    I just can't do it.

Still no where near as horribly boring as Ghostland... I mean Outland.
