Alterac Mountains infused in Hillsbrad

Hello. I believe that this deserves its own topic.

The Alterac Mountains no longer exist as its own zone. Instead they are a subsection of the Hillsbrad Foothills. What will this mean for questing?

Just what will happen to this area come Cataclysm

its better that way, its always been a weird place with no real quest of its own, i always found it to be like Deadwind pass in that respect

deadwind pass looks like it might be getting "infused" with duskwood too

probably, it already is on the main world map

also note that the same thing happened to duskwood/deadwind pass, so that's why i've been saying that they probably are getting merged together too

I wonder when they'll start renaming those areas, since it's no longer the foothills, or a duskWOOD(barely any trees in deadwind pass) or the plagueless western plaguelands

Yup.. SS is destroyed and the Hillsbrad Fields which used to be the questing area for horde is now surrounded with thick walls and searchlights.. It looks like a concentration camp, but for mushrooms.

Alterac always to me was like Azshara in live version.

almost like filler zone to connect other zones.
good to see it going away.
