Blizzard: let's make paladins use holy savage roar to pointlessly complicate their spec even though the only classes with similar self buffs have 10x better mobility than rets... and let's give them a mastery that is a bland passive duplicate of it, just for grins.

Hm... now how do we balance for paladins getting all this bonus holy damage, oh let's just cut their existing holy damage IN HALF so that they will have to stack mastery & pray no one dispels their inquisition to do comparable damage in Cata, that will be fun.

My favorite part of cata is that offensive dispellers will be able to make us OOM AND can totally negate all of our mobility. Remember that video of the arcane mage dueling the ret? Here for those that missed it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sffMfqFfR0E

Guess how much LAotL would help us in this fight? Zero. Slow's 60% snare would prevent it from accomplishing anything, even if the mage was too lazy to dispel it.

There had best be some substantial pvp buffs to ret before Cata ships, or we are heading back to TBC lolret status in a hurry.
