Need some help

My girlfriend started playing a priest and picked it up pretty well, except for the gemming part.

There is never 'perfect' gemming. Most priests tend to go for a balanced gemming fitting in the sockets:

Red = Runed Cardinal Ruby (23 Spellpower)
Yellow = Reckless Ametrine (12 Spellpower + 10 Haste)
Blue = Purified Dreadstone (12 Spellpower + 10 Spirit)

Her gemming seems fine to me. She might want to switch the Purified Dreadstones to +20 haste rating gems, though, because I don't think she'll have a lot of manaproblems.

She's currently logged out in disc spec, but I'm going to assume that holy is her main raiding spec given the gear selected and its current itemization. To follow up on Leeuwke's point, she would only need to switch about 4 to 20 Haste to hit the GCD cap @ 1269, and if ICC is the primary emphasis this would be outweigh the small loss of regen and SP in her current gear.
