David Vs. Goliath

So.. I was questing for Northrend Loremaster, came across a giant Colossus at the end of the chain, and thought of David and Goliath.

Note: No size potions/food were used.

You're supposed to confront the giant with a mindcontrolled Jormunguar, not on foot. That's why the mob is so huge.

Also, almost two years late.

even the target range is huge, you can target him on dalaran

just killed him a month ago, is huge.. almost die in process

That's what I thought I did the quest while levelling the first time. Oh what fun I had back then...
Still the thing doesn't get much smaller if you use the jormungar.

Putridus isn't very big when talking about "HUuuUUuuge monsters in WoW"... A bit larger than a normal flesh-giant, but meh... Trym the Hope ender is quite a lot bigger than Putridus, about as tall as the dark iron giant mentioned in the OP, but not quite as bulky...
