I'm kinda bummed they didn't use Illidans model from Black Temple and instead opted for the warlock demon form..... kinda lame.

That right there is exactly why I never liked Malfurion and why I always loved Illidan. Everything that poor guy did he did out of love for Tyranda (who I also don't like).. I mean sure he wanted power and stuff, but he wanted power to use for good to help his people.. What Illidan did was no different than things Warlocks do on a daily basis, yet we don't chastise and banish them.
When I played WC3 and TFT Illidan was hands down my favorite character.

I think that's simply because of the zone and the quests. All of the characters who appeared in this chain were half transparent, plus the zone is naturally dark dull colours which could contribute to him being more black. Originally Posted by Explosion_Rex

This was one of the moments in WCIII I thought, Fuck you Malfurion. He saved those damn forests and you punished him. Illidan even remained calm and ran away.
I would rather kill off Malfurion then Illidian. But alas, I killed Illidan already because he had a shiny mace :<Always stand behind your values. It's all you will ever be able to keep and controll.

I always hated that in WC3.
Illidan becomes what he hates to save the forest and Malfurion and Tyrande are total bitches about it. So ungrateful.
Still, nice questline. Thanks for sharing.
