Starcraft, Zerg overmind holds control of the zerg, creates kerrigan, kerrigan gets loose of the zerg overmind's control, Overmind dies, kerrigan now has control of the zerg.
Warcraft, LK holds control of the undead, creates sylvanas, sylvanas gets loose of LK's control, LK dies, Sylvanas now holds control of the undead.
- Thoughts on this?
edit: i didnt take into account the change of kerrigan at the end of SC2 due to simply there not being enough info about what's going on :>

Fascinating, except for the fact that Sylvanas does not have control over the Lich King's undead. And before you point out the valk'yrs, they willfully joined her.

didnt think that ''change of kerrigan'' would actually spoil anything, anyhow, its not like kerrigan had control over all of the zerg at first either, i could think of Tassadar having similar things as bolvar going on aswell.

Sylvanas only leads a minor part of the Undead, the Forsaken. They escaped the LKs control, so they retain their free will.The Scourge itself is now controlled by Bolvar, and "controlled" means they are really under his absolute control.
So, sharing some similarities, Warcrafts and Starcrafts twists are far from identical.
