Humbug.

Well as I can't canvas ideas from my guildies how I can get a replacement headset after mine broke last night, I can canvas MMO Champion instead.

So factoids first. I no longer have the receipt or the packaging for said headset. I will not just buy a new one as it cost me £40 and I have only had it for approximately 5 weeks. The headset broke as I was taking it off my head and the swivelling strut for the righthand earpiece snapped. Now as I have no proof of purchase (other than a bank statement that shows I bought something worth £40 from PCWorld) I'm pretty sure I cannot claim on the warranty and the 30 day no questions asked return policy has expired.

So is there any possible way I can get a new replacement headset?

For those curious:

The Paris server park is currently experiencing problems. All of the Paris (1) realms are offline, while Paris 2, Paris 3, Frankfurt and other server parks are online.

So yeah. Could be a looong time.

Could you happen write an email to the company who made the headset stating that you didnt expect something worth £40 to brake within 5 weeks so you disposed of the receipt maybe?
