As title says. Im wondering, are they still going on with their Content-is-a-must-for-everyone?!

Also, are they keeping Emblems/Badges in Cata? Because atm i can get somewhat good gear with Emblems. And Im not sure if Ill have the time for serious raiding guild. So im just wondering, getting epics in every slot is going to be more chalenging or on the same level as WoTKL? Im also wondering how far pugs will be able to go down in instances..

Yes to Badges/Emblems/Justice Points or whatever they are called these days. You will get them from heroics and raids. That's still the plan sofar.

That ilvl thing is just for the LFD tool. Since Uldum and Twilight Highlands aren't itemized yet people can't obtain the 300 ilvl average needed to enter the higher level instances through the LFD tool and have to enter the instance the old-fashioned way. Same way it works for the ICC 5 mans now, so nothing new. Can't enter those in only greens.
