    Ask your profs at the start of each semester if the textbooks are available to download. The downloadable, electronic versions of them are usually WAY cheaper, I saved at least a clean 100$ by getting the downloadable version of my genetics text last year, it adds up.

    Might not be a good idea if you have trouble reading a textbook on the same comp where you access all your other distractions though :P
