You have 2 other Specs to choose from bro. No one said you have to be Affliction.
You have AoE.

Dude... read it again... its the same way as its always been... you can only have one ua or immolate active on a target at a time... it doesnt say one at a time for everything like bane of havoc...

1% could end up being around the same amount with the increase to stamina. And if it isn't, oh well now you might actually have downtime while leveling.
so it heals for 10 health for every 1k you have.
and it would only heal for 1k if you had 100k health.

Could someone explain to me the UA change? I read it as a mostly PvE nerf. Only one UA per warlock can be active on any one target- I don't actually know what this means. I could have sworn I could only have one UA on a target anyways.

Well, that's what we're trying to figure out .. if it's the same as what it's today (UA and Immo are exclusive) .. or UA and Immo just can be cast on 1 target!
Let's hope it's just a tooltipchange, Blizzard has done this before. Atleast I really hope it's just a tooltip change...

This is just ridiculous... it has a 50% chance to heal you for 1% of your max hp. So basically it heals you for 0.5% of your total hp. So if you have 100k hp at lvl 85 then it heals you for 500 hp. Thats a lot less then it heals now at lvl 80.
Funny how they changed all affli heals to heal you for % of your total hp. I liked affli because you got healed for the amount of damage you did. you're transfering health from the target to you. Now its just lame heals that has nothing to do with the damage you do.
HUUUUGE nerf. The talent isnt even worth it anymore.

btw if they nerfed Siphon Life because of SB:SoC, then why cant they just give us back the Siphon Life DoT instead? That way they dont have to worry about Corruption healing for too much. Make Haunt a Dot and give us Back SL as a DoT, then we have 5 dots. Maybe affli can be fun again then. And Soul Swap will take care of Haunt too then also.
Yeah they destroyed SL, it's totally worthless now. May heal about 20% of what it did before :-(

Siphon Life is useless. RNG RNG RNG for a measly heal that ticks less than Fel Armor. Ugh, is this how they offset Drain Life? Because i know that OP 5% health is so not staying. Why is Shadow Embrace still there? We cannot effectively self heal, we still die against melee and we can't use DL against them because they are just giving them interrupts like candies. At least offset this freaking change. Siphon life is so worthless you are forced to take imp fear just to avoid this horrible waste of 2 talents pts.
And with the Life Tap change...we just make our death faster than our enemies do to us.
Sorry for the QQ, but seriously, Affliction is dead now. Shadowpriests can heal better in Shadowform + on demand heals. The biggest irony we will be getting from this is that Drain life will be nerfed (it will be nerfed) and they wont revert Siphon life. That's how it will happen, and we will all be sitting duck.
This may be one of those things that matter a lot less than you think once we all have the huge cata healthpools and burst is toned down quite a bit. I honestly haven't given it too much thought...but SL always felt a little op to me and I think in its current incarnation it would be even moreso once the cata pvp design philosophy takes hold.
