Why is no one talking about the best change there:
"In addition, purchasing any item with these secondary currencies (Honor Points and Justice Points) will now require that the purchaser meet the item's minimum level requirement."
YES YES YES!
I dislike that. My alts all bought at least one piece of the 232 PVP gear pre-80 thanks to Call to Arms. Some managed 4. Now they're possibly gonna hit the cap because they can't spend it until 80.
I know a lot of people are gonna go "LAWLEZGEERNUB". But it's the most basic PVP gear, which most people use as their starter Heroic dungeon gear.
how much gold?
1 per emblem?
if so.. lol fail.
It's sad that my firs thought on reading "currency changes" was "ooookay Blizzard, we know you're making everything nice, but do you really ha ... I wonder if they'll give us platinum pieces! That'd be kinda neat!". I was then disappointed to find that the currency was in fact badges and stuff. /sadmoo
It seems it doesn't include Halaa Tokens or anything, which is good considering the inane amount of laziness I posses when trying to get the War Talbuks for any alts.
I had 70-80 outlands badges and it converted to about 130 gold
Guess it didn't get included but the source link also indicated they will provide all the math tomorrow.
Let us know what you think and if you have any questions. We're planning to post all of the conversion math tomorrow afternoon for those that want to know how many of each they'll be getting.
bc heroics ftw!
So does this mean that one can farm emblems of triumph from heroics and they will essentially allow you to buy frost gear once the patch drops?

Now my question will be: Will 4.0 also convert the prices of the current emblem items *c.q. BOA items ?
:ss Just bought millions of Saronites from my 200 frosts and starting to buy brutal for my 9k arena pts...
Is the Justice Pts i would get from frosts' a huge amount?
You already can. Frost emblems are quite handy. These changes will put frost and triumph badges on equal ground, but consider that we'll only have 2 weeks of farming before the expansion anyway, and you'll see why it doesn't matter.
As for those asking if it'll be possible to save up for cata gear, you'll get justice points, not hero points, ie. It'll be rewarding 5-man loot, rather than raid gear. So, a slight advantage, but probably nothing that 5 minutes on the auction house, LFD tool or trade chat won't solve.
So all I have to do to get lvl 70 vendor gear is kill level-equivalent bosses? Does it have to be on heroics? Is it lvl 70 raid-only? So many questions..
So Triumph and Frost becomes Justice Points... which means Triumph = Frost. So while today we can get a maximum of 2 Frost per heroic today... there will be no limit when this change goes in. How odd.
My #1 question is what currency will we use to buy the current Badge of Justice gear? Gold or Justice Points? Gold means that people could get the gear really, really easily. Justice Points means that you could never get that gear at the appropriate level. I have a Shaman I've just started farming TBC heroics and this is an interesting change...
I'd like to know whether stockpiling Emblems now means people will be able to get a load of currency for buying the low level 85 gear.
