Do they need a Cataclysm Trailer?

I dont know about you guys but i really hope blizzard makes a better Trailer for Cataclysm... i mean all the info about it is cool but all the others especially BC and WotLK have really awesome graphics AND you still know facts/lore about it. what do u guys think?

Cinematic=/= trailer, but still... cinematics>Trailers and we know there is gonna be one,released in 4.0 kinda explaining what happent to azeroth since when u login suddenly everything's gonna be destroyed and all

They had a 'trailer' for Cataclysm a long ass time ago.

i think you guys are getting caught up in words; clearly OP means the cinematic lol. also, i found wrath's cinematic to be awesome. anyone who gets into the lore aspects of warcraft can appreciate the backstory and understand the references by arthas father, and how tragic his fall from grace was.

imo, the cataclysm cinematic should be a mix of both BC and wrath, a little but more lore/story based around deathwing for the first half of the cinematic, then cutting to the devestation of the cataclysm, and action shots of the new races etc, queue deathwing's inevitable "you are not prepared" line; fade to curtains = me blowing juicy load over keyboard.

I don't agree on this. LK cinematic is pure epic awesomeness, plus same concept all the time=bad which is "showing off several races then a battle between them". Don't get me wrong the draenei pala rocked, it worked for 2 cinematics but enough is enough. I'm almost certain Blizz will want to show the new races I just hope it's not "seal->hammer->smash face, mind flay->rez->bubble, you are not prepared" thing.

They don't need a new trailer, but there will be a new cinematic. Every one so far has been bloody awesome.

Blizzard is probably putting the finishing touches on the cinematic by this point, so there's no real reason to debate the issue.

From interviews I've seen, it's going to showcase the cataclysm itself. Although any other details are unknown at this point.

I liked the original Wrath trailer with Arthas just talking about adventurers in Northrend.

On topic, though, they have a Cataclysm trailer and the Cinematic will hopefully be unveiled at Blizzcon.

Wrath's was the best because it didn't have that. For Classic wow, I can understand because there was no poster-boy-end-of-the-expansion-villian, but BC's should've focused more on Illidan IMO. So Personally I hope it focuses JUST on Deathwing. Although if done well they could pull a WCIII (Grunt V Footman fighting, both killed by an infernal) and have horde V alliance and then have the cataclysm happen, i don't know though just a thought.

I dont know why ppl seem to QQ about every single thing about WOTLK, but i think it got the best wow cinematic so far.

And yeah, cant wait for the cata cinematic, hope itll be good.
