Solo 80 heroics

A while ago I saw a post on this forum by a prot paladin who said he had solod every heroic boss bar 1 in nexus and the toc/icc instances. Right now I'm trying to solo UP, I haven't died but getting brought quite low so maybe I'm doing it wrong.

Anyone have any experience with solo 80 heroics got any advice on maybe a different spec or something?

I'm using basic 0/53/18 build, all gear is 264/277 so I'm geared enough and keeping Sacred Shield up etc.

Post your experiences with soloing heroics if you have any as well as any advice

I don't have any advice but I wanted to mention that it probably took him a long time and that you're not going to be any different. People who solo hard content just to prove they can spend a long time doing so. The rogue who soloed patchwerk spent hours on that one boss.

Standard rule of thumb is use Seal of Light and Judgement of Light. As long as you aren't standing in fire, that should be more then enough.

I can't see how the person you mentioned managed to solo Eregos The Ley Guardian post Green Drake nerf. (You could heal dot kite him to death) Smells of BS.

I do not have any experience myself in soloing heroics but I do know of a DK who solos heroics and has even solod OS10 and would have solod rotface but he apparently has an enrage timer.

Actually like people said just to see if I can is one reason, but the real reason and motivation is blue proto. I've been queing UP for a few weeks not seen mount drop and if it does drop will probably lose roll, so time to see if i can solo it and how long it takes.

Thank you very much for this, I'd only done one trash pull when I posted and they took me down to about 10% health, was using corruption and juding wis, feel like an idiot for not thinking sooner, now I'm almost at the boss using judge of light and seal of light and they're barely scratching me so far =)
