Error when launching WoW

Ever since the background loader was put it i've gotten this error whenever i try to run WoW.

First error popup:
"Runtime Error!

Program C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\BackgroundDownloader.exe

This Program has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information."

And the 2nd error popup:
"Blizzard Downloader has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience"

any help/ideas?

Try first running it as an admin, and then running it in a compatibility mode. It's been a fairly common error.
