    Build 12984 Shaman Changes

    * Windfury Weapon now deals damage equal to two extra attacks with 4430 extra attack power. (Up from 1395 Attack Power)
    * Flametongue Weapon now increases total spell damage by 750, up from 235.
    * Primal Wisdom (Talent) is gone.
    * Primal Wisdom (Passive) *New* - Your melee attacks have a 40% chance to immediately restore 5% of your base mana.
    * Unleashed Rage is now a 2 Ranks talent, down from 3 Ranks. Now increases Expertise by 4/8 (up from 3/6/9), increases all party and raid members' attack power by 5/10% (up from 4/7/10%)


    Restoration

    * Earthliving Weapon now increases healing done by 531, up from 167.
    * Healing Wave base healing value reduced by 25%. Mana cost changed to 9% of base mana, up from 6% of base mana.
    * Mana Tide Totem no longer restores mana, now increases the spirit of party members within 40 yards by 200%.



    What do you think of these changes?

    umm isent that OP if i have 2k spirit and shammy uses it id have 4k looks like shammy will keep there spot for this as this will probly be a must for people to have

    dont like Healing Wave base healing value reduced by 25%. Mana cost changed to 9% of base mana, up from 6% of base mana

    costs more and heals less :S pick one not both

    Its more like if you have 2k spirit for the duration of mana tide totem you will have 6k (its 200% up)

    The heal less cost more upgrade happened to every heal class. I guess, they try to reduce "normal heal" spam which - according to beta videos - healers do now.

    I can't wait to test out these changes for Enhancement, this should give us a very nice dps increase.

    Uhm wont we have a bit of trouble with our mana regen now since our mana totem dosnt restore our mana anymore?

    remember Tuuuu that Blizzards try to remove all mp5 regen and actually that what this totem was, i think that it is a great exchange, the question is if paladins get the same >.>

    WF change..
    itsnt it like only new Rank of WF ?
    Which basicly should happen so it's not such a change.. right. or. what.. or it will affect right after 4.0.. it's just change of WF rank 8.. any ideas ?

    I like the Flametounge one.. but Healing Wave nerf is meh.

    Not to burst your bubble but that mana tide totem is just like priest spirit cooldown, so we lose yet another unique buff...

    How on earth are you going to get mana back quickly then?

    Omg man u have 40% to get back 5% mana.... thats not enough?Whit 2 one-handed waepon that almost every secund swing....

    Well, spirit namely. Spirit is the key mana regen stat coming in cataclysm so... ^^

    Uhm...Are people mistaking the Mana Tide for the Mana Spring totem?

    Some of these posts just sound quite confused on the matter. For clearance, the mana tide is the one that currently restores 6% max mana, every second for 6 seconds.
