I dislike thread posters who don't go into further explanation or try to reason the other side's logic. Just going to say get over it.
Over-thinking, Over-analyzing, separates the body from the mind.

Many of those achievements are either for considerably greater quantities, such as the gold looting, fish caught etc that are beyond reasonable expectation from a single person, or duplicates of dungeon and raid content clears that simply indicate that there was a sufficient number of guild members present.
They do not impact on, or detract from those you already have.

Those are there as an incentive to remain with a guild, to spend time contributing.
That was long overdue, meaning that a guild matters and should not be something you start up just because you feel like it.
Guilds should have long ago been something which required more effort to create, instead of the dozens you seem to see advertised each day with the intention of raiding which if lucky 1 in 100 of those will see.
Unfortunatly I cannot see that part happening, but at least you will be more reluctant to guild hop if you are going to lose out on something. Makes the original decision matter more.

In regards to this, slight mis-information.
Throne of the Four Winds: Awarded to an individual who clears both bosses, be it on 10-man or 25-man (or 1 on 10, the other on 25, matters not)

Throne of the Four Winds Guild Run: Awarded to a guild who clears the raid instance, with 8/10 or 20/25 guild composition in the raid. Either format works, and it can be mix-and-matched.

And as posted in the most recent blue post list, all the old 25-man raids will only take 8/25 to earn guild credit for, not 20/25. So it's more 10-man styled, which is fair, given how you can smash most of them with 5-10 people as it is already, and come 85, will be even easier. I know this applies for TBC raids, but unsure if this includes WotLK. Only time will tell.
