Mages New Global Port Fee

With the recent (or future) removal of dalaran and shattrath portals mages around the world have come together with a revision of portals fee. Many things have changed: the world is in a cataclysmic state, primary resources are harder to get in these times of war e tragedy, economy is facing a tough recession (aka deathwing effect), ley lines are harder to find, and the syndicate of reagents sellers is making a huge pressure.
In face of all this the corporation of azerothian mages have globally increased the portal fee to 50G.
We come here to inform and call mages everywhere to defend our portal supremacy. Do not accept anything less. Charge an extra fee if you actually have to travel elsewhere to open a portal to some mage-abuser. Portals are becoming a scarce resource in a threatened world. Value it. Value yourself. Value the planet.

I remember hitting level 74 in WotLK and charging 100g for Dal ports.
Made a tidy sum in the first couple of days when there weren't many mages with the spell.

Mines always been 300g but since anyone is unlikely to pay that, I just tell them to scoot to save time:P

I think people are WAY over reacting to this. So there are no ports in Dalaran or Shatt.... I personally
don't plan to EVER go there. The new content in this expac is in Azeroth. You will use your capital city
as your base just like in vanilla. You will fly from your capital city just like you did in vanilla. Oh
and incase you weren't paying attention, Alchemists make a potion that teleports you to Deepholme.
Mages are not going to be anymore in demand than they are today. If anything they will be less in demand.
