Title says it all. What is/was your favorite zone of Northrend and why? For me, it's probably the Grizzly Hills and the Howling Fjord tied for first, with the Storm Peaks coming in second. For me, it's just that GH/HF are two very beautiful zones with some very memorable music; arguably among the best of the ambient music for the zones in Wrath, in my personal opinion.

Just love the atmosphere. And I was also one of the first to get the TLPD on my server...

Sholazar Basin. I just like the Zone, it stands out from the rest of the zones in northrend.

I loved Grizzly Hills for the atmosphere, but in terms of quests, it was Sholazar Basin. I liked having a load of kill quests to do at any one time, which most of Northrend doesn't have.
I hate WotLK for leveling.

Zul'Drak, by far. I love the detail they did in the sky, and the irrigation system that weaves through the entire area, and the music as well. Icecrown is my second favorite, just because of the history surrounding it.

The Grizzly Hills music reminds me of one of the greatest movies ever made... Braveheart. That's why it is the best zone.

You know, I still remember when I first went into the Howling Fjord on launch night and saw the burning ship in the fjord leading to Valgarde; hard not to remember first seeing that. It was damn impressive to me.

mhhh, probably icecrown. i loved questing there, the whole atmosphere and the storyline from that area. really interesting.
but on the other hand, grizzly hills! as many others here mentioned, great area. blizzard did well on these two zones (as well on the others)››yeah, here used to be a signature once. I've must lost it somewhere in the twisting nether... still waiting for the mail from the postmaster.

Grizzly Peaks is the best zone. The Storm Hills is okay too.

Grizzly Hills and the Fjord are both gorgeous zones with great music, but of the two I'd rather live in the Hills, as it's brighter and less creepy in places. I think also their smaller size (compared to Icecrown and Storm Peaks) makes them more familiar.
