Are there any mirrors for the beta and patches? Some of us are stuck behind university firewalls.

That sucks, I don't think there is a beta on CD, unless you know someone in it, they might be able to burn it to a disc, then still not sure if it will work for you :\

I have unlimited data usage here in America of course, but I am trying to save money right now so I am paying for the lowest tier, which is currently 2Mbps speed. It really sucks that I cannot watch Youtube in HD while playing WoW, and it takes forever to download content patches. But I can't complain to anyone but myself, because it's my choice.
Actually a lot of people have capped internet plans in the US even though it is not their choice due to unlimited being unavailable. Damn you cellular and satellite plans.
Also in NZ and Aus capped data plans are the norm. Your norm is not everyone else's.
Of course I miss the 100Mbps service that I had in Japan.

Yeah. I used to think that only Macs worked that way (since most programs do not "install" to the OS), but Zarhym has stated that he keeps a back-up on a USB drive.
As for the internet cafe, the "ANY computer capable" part is important. They usually block you from adding anything to the primary hard-drive, and your temporary space allotment will not be enough to install WoW.

It cheaper to have capped plans in Australia yes, but there are lots of unlimited plans if you're willing to pay quite a bit extra.

When the NBN gets fully installed to everyone in Australia and we are getting some of the best speeds in the world for heaps cheaper things will change, but it won't be available to everyone for another 2 or so years.

Caps on the intraweb =O You cannot stop me from streaming my beloved porn. Yeah sucks but what can you do besides increase your plan. If it helps I have no cap and I didn't get in. So we're both in the same boat.

Gotta love my ISP, they always host all beta/patch files locally for A) fast and B) Unmetered download.
