Baron Runs

12 runs down and no mount. On the bright side, ive already hit exalted with the Argent dawn and have only 1 piece missing from my lightforge set that im trying to get for shits and giggles. Anyone else out there farming the baron mount?

Ok, seriously I got mine on about the 30th run. Wasn't hard by any means and also made a fair amount of gold. Good luck!

I was lucky enough to get my mount in about 14 or 15 runs, but a guild mate of mine took literally over 120 runs to get it on his priest alone, and he has it now on at least 3 characters.

Well I guess it's also a good thing that i'm farming Timmy the Cruel for those elusive Lightforge Gauntlets, eh? TIMMAH! =D

i got mine back b4 achivements and the mount drop rate was apparently 'lower' back then. spent a good few days doin it but around 50+ runs or so then i got it. was pissed when that was the only time i took a friend and he was hellbent on takin it after all my hard work

Didn't say i thought i was unlucky now did i? i can see how my post might have seemed that way but im having a blast. In fact its a rather entertaining activity while waiting for 4.0.1.

hehe that's why im farming solo. It might go faster with a friend, but i know my friends too well to think they'd pass a 15 drop chance mount to me no strings attached lol.

went there tons of times for the raptor...when you THEN see the tiger over and over again, you get pissed...
could've had like 8 tigers. but 0 raptors.

and baronwise uhmmm took me about 300 runs overall.

You guys were sure unlucky. I was very lucky took me 3 runs for mount and than saw it drop again on the 9th run. (Trying to get the rivendare Blade) no luck. But I'm happy I got my mount and achievement.

ZG Tiger has been my favorite mount since the place launched in 1.7 - even being Alliance and already having enough sabre mounts to make me officially a "Crazy Cat Lady", the color scheme just makes it so damn sexy. And now that the place is being removed, I won't be able to get it.. *CRIES*

Although really, I should have spent the last 5 years farming every raid lockout if I'd wanted it badly enough instead of simply sitting in <insert expansion's capital city here> wetting myself every time one ran by.

I just did run number 70. No luck yet. My husband got his on run number 15, brother got his on run number 19. Tonight after the raid I'm dragging him to zg, first boss in kara and heroic magister's terrace. I have terrible luck with mounts

Depends when you were doing them really. The buff rate is currently a lot higher than it was in the past. I probably did anwhere between 250-400 runs total before I got the mount... but loads were in classic, I actually started farming it solo in burning Crusade and I got it after around 30 tries at the current drop chance.

Got the Raven Lord on the 2nd attempt and ran ZG, Kara and SH lots of times and got just trash.
