What concert was your favorite?
Mine was a recent one when Ian Anderson came to town. No scorpion launching bras, no exploding angler fish, no outrageous anything.

Monster Ball Tour
I know who you're referencing...
But there was no scorpion launching bras, unless I really, really wasn't paying attention.
My favorite was Metallica on the Death Magnetic tour.
There were angler fish wearing scorpion-launching bras. It was pretty epic.
My first one. Liquored up teen. Primus opening up for Public Enemy and Anthrax. Dan Spitz signed my shoe. I've since lost it. Tim 'Herb' Alexander left me hangin. Flavor Flav ran around the stage with a giant inflatable penis. It was awesome.
Need Roll - 1 for [Bright Pink Imbued Mageweave Banana-Hammock] by Ayirasi
Joe Satriani in Santa Barbara. Four hours of just pure playing. Gangster just ran on stage, grabbed his guitar and played for four hours.
That involves activity OUTSIDE my basement?
Deadmau5 performing live is absolutely amazing.
I think the best concert i've been to was Iron Maiden this summer. It wasn't only the concert, but also driving about 600 km with a bunch of close friends to get there. So it was a fun experience . Close mentions are an Ac/Dc concert and this year's Sonisphere festival. If i hadn't missed Dream Theater in 2002, the list would've been a lot easier to make :P.
Nirvana / November 1993 / New York
Breaking Benjamin/Three Days Grace / Flyleaf / Feb 2010/ Lexington
Listed my favorite 2 that I have attended.
Nightwish 2000 in cologne
Ah sweet 16, hitchhiked there with a friend of mine a year younger.
Quite interesting how many people give a ride to black clothed teens, heh.
You lucky son of a... I wish I could have seen Kurt before he died. Alas, I'm 22 and was just too young.
I can't really list a top single one, but here's 3:
Nine Inch Nails:
When NIN came back right before they released With Teeth. Their first show was the Orpheum in Boston, a TINY place for them. Trent didn't think it would sell that well. He was wrong. It was a vicious show, the place was ruined.
Green Day:
Right after Warning came out I got to see them live. Great show.
The Dresden Dolls:
Nothing matches Brian Viglione's drumming skills during a cover of War Pigs by Black Sabbath. It was beautiful.
Mine was "The Varukers"
Metallica, Live Shit: Binge and Purge, Seattle, 1989. (I wish)

Ska-P in Venice Sunsplash and Nightwish in Udine
The Foo Fighters in Wembley with Jimmy Page and Jonesy, that was insane.

Green Day in Wembley. Had Joan Jett and the Blackhearts supporting, and someone else I've never heard of.
Fucking awesome night, and they're a great live band, very crowd-orientated too.
I wanna see the Foo Fighters. ><
