I liked a lot of Northrend. Not ALL of it, mind you, but Sholazar was awesome and I really enjoyed the quest chain that opened up rep with the Sons of Hodir and got you involved with Thorim and his family drama. That part was fun. Plus, the Old Kingdom instances rocked. Overall, there are some parts of Northrend I definitely won't miss, but I don't hate it as much as a lot of other people seem to. Hopefully they'll enjoy Cataclysm's zones more.
Goodbye Stormpeaks! hands down trippiest zone in all of Northrend
Hopefully Cata will yield more psychedelically honed lands like TBC...good times
Over-thinking, Over-analyzing, separates the body from the mind.
Never underestimate the power of nostalgia
As for me.. I'm happy to see the old zones revived; to me, that's where the original wow feel is, when everything was new and challenging.
There's a guy named Hogger.. what the hell does elite mean? So I can actually pick flowers and find mines? What do you mean skin it. Why does that guy have a horse when I don't? And the music the first time you entered stormwind.. epic.
/Nostalgic rant
