The Tauren


The first three rounds of voting have ended. The MMO-Champ community elected these classes to represent the following races:
-Humans: Paladin
-Orcs: Warrior (followed closely by Shaman)
-Night Elves: Druid

Cataclysm will introduce many more race/class combinations. This has caused many people to analyze the lore background behind each class that a race is able to have. What if there could only be 1? I'm not saying that I support this kind of idea, but it is very fun to think about.

I am conducting these polls based on the lore of each race. It is interesting to think about this question: What if each race could only be one class? Which would it be? Ideally, each race in each faction would represent a different class.

When you vote in this poll, please consider the lore of the race and the background of the class. Tomorrow, we will vote on the Night Elves! Then we will compile a list of the race/class combo that the MMO-Champ community voted for.

The hunter point is very valid, but when I think Tauren, I just think Shaman...and a totem strapped to his back!

I'd say hunters/warriors. The warriors in their society pretty much double as hunters anyway, plus, combine a WC3 Tauren with a WC3 Shaman and you win everything forever.

This works for me. I went Shaman, mainly because my first levelled character was a Tauren Shaman and it always fit their mold.

Uhm... if I'm not mistaken, those Tauren walking around with huge Totem Poles are actually Warriors.
