pause at EXACTLY :46 as hes coming down. Look at his ankle. then try to look exactly as he lands. His feet are crossed, unpause it again, his foot slides out to the side.

Then look at where he points on his KNEE. Its very likely that the impact caused some kind of cruciate ligament tear, not an actual leg break. He can move his foot, he does so for a bit, he also puts pressure on it.

This kind of injury is pretty common actually. I know someone who had a similar type of injury from hitting a bookshelf with his knee at an odd angle, and its also a pretty common injury for sports players.
