Cataclysm plausible hints early on in the game.

Well what first hit me while I was screwing around with Atlas Loot is that, the shaman Tier 5 struck me as an resemblance of Deathwing, and on top of that it was named Cataclysm? I know it sounds cheesy but it seems like blizzard has fun playing mind games with everyone lol, kind of like the goblin starting area looking like a huge horde insignia and the 1000's of people who don't care to read their comments and find that they told everyone that, a long time ago.

Back on subject, the warrior Tier 5 seemed pretty hint hint to me as well, hence the name "Death wing the Destroyer" and to add the note, yes I'm high enough to write this and able to click spell check.

Meh, just something to think about lol.. it seems pretty funny to me.

I leveled some alt a while back, and I think I was around level 12 when I turned in a quest in Stormwind. When I completed the quest, the NPC started laughing about the information I had given him and said "haha yeah, and deathwing will rise from the earth."

The T5 set looked like lava. Deathwing looks like lava. The similarity is a coincidence. The name may not be, but eruptions are cataclysmic events, so it's probably still coincidence.

Huh... the shaman one does look very much like deathwing, in a way. Lots of molten metal in broken up pieces, chains, spikes, the face plate... and all named cataclysm. It does seem rather coincidental.

The warrior armor though, is a bit of stretch.

Yea, and for the people like me who read "The Shattering" already LOL sadly.. In the beginning it says that I won't say who, sees a vision of the earth breaking and death wing screaming, he's also blind so you feel bad, and he's a shaman. Coincidence? Probably? Do I care? I'd like to figure it out so if that means yes, then yes.

I love the movie and I love that quote lol. And actually completely relevant to this thread! Blizzard likes to keep us guessing and planning. By doing so that means we're actively discussing the game OUTSIDE of the game lmao. Which in turn, brings us back to the game with maybe one or two more people.

Lol hell yea, good marketing, just something else that's "Retarded" (Since they took it out the dictionary) I've always wondered why there was a swirl drown in the middle of the map, right where ships pass through.

Hell, you couldn't even get to that swirl! Back in vanilla, the servers crashed but I was still "online." So I was just running on my mount and I jumped into the ocean and didn't dismount! I was like wtf and kept swimming and decided I'd try to get to the maelstrom. About halfway there, I ran into a splotch of land. It was just a continuous strip that went AROUND the maelstrom. There was an invisible wall I couldn't get past but I ran for like 20minutes on the land trying to find something but couldn't and then I got my awesome DC message lol.

I'm beginning to think that shamans have more than just something to do with the expansion, ever notice earthquake? I know that it's supposed to look like an earth quake and show the glowing of lava beneath the ground but.. Odd timing.. Maybe I'm gettin into this too much and just need to get a beer, call it a night and go to bed..

There really wasn't much to it lol, just imagine a random thing of dirt colored land in the middle of the ocean that was completely flat. I WISH I would've found something intriguing, but otherwise it was just a boring yet somewhat exciting run lol.
