I think it's cool to have. They are also optional, so no need to fight over them.

A while back, a lot of people said that they wanted world bosses to return. Blizzard couldn't bring them back totally, so I believe that this is their compromise. Actual blue posts in the link. I'd quote it here myself, but I don't know how to make a Blzzard quote.
