It's a demonic trick to try to make demons appear innocent. I think it might be Political spin though.

Oh I was wondering what that was. I ran Hyjal for the first time a few weeks ago and noticed he was sparkling, figured it was an aoe effect or something, most of the bosses in there seem to have some sort of aura.

Forge camp in Nagrand was also a very sparky elite (idd pitlord), one moment i thought this was normal .. but now ic.
