10k hours is 410 days of WoW, that's over a years worth of sitting in front of your computer doing nothing else... I have about 280 days and I feel hardcore enough as it is. Anybody that reaches or goes past 365 should feel... sad.

alts - 24 days ,5 days, 15 days 14 hours , 13 days, 3 days, 1 day, 86 days, 13 days, 2 days, 2 days, 10 days, 2 days,

so thats around 7088 hours, uhm, damn...

thats not including alts ive had, i deleted atleast 3 60 alts i had in classic which is probs another 1-2k hours lol

Had about 150 days back in Vanilla, played most in TBC, and not AS much in Wrath, so I'd say I've probably passed the 10k mark.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but are you making reference to the notion that someone needs to spend over 10,000 hours on something to become an expert at it? For example, to be an expert pianist, you would need 10,000 hours practice on average, regardless of talent.

In all fairness, much of my time during Vanilla and BC was spent scanning the auction house via auctioneer, every day while I went off to classes. I was kind of shocked to see 481 days, but thinking back on it, since me and my girl friend play together all the time, it's not that much.

Doing /played on my rogue, I have:

405 days, 7 hours, 1 minute, 4 seconds. That's just one char, I have other 80s/70s/60s. Well over 600 days played across all.

So yeah, I guess I have if I count all my alts. If not, then I'm a few days short of 10k on my rogue alone :[
