so if an engineer dares to enchant his items with engineering enchants, he's a sucker,
because in rated BGs it will be like not having any enchants, while the rest will.

Your post seems to suggest that they are prohibiting ANY engineering in RBGs. That isn't the case. You can still use your rocket gloves and parachute cloaks. You just can't use rocket boots, the frag belt, or things like mind control. Otherwise, it would be overpowered and a required profession for the highest level of play. Plus you can still stack your engineering gimmicks on top of enchants, making it even better.
