How is he bad?
How is it possible we're 7 pages in and only one person has mentioned Shia LaBouf? He has the range of a mud puddle and even less on screen charisma than one. He looks the same in every movie he's in - like he's constipated!
If you think Harrison Ford only fits one role then you've never seen a Kiefer Sutherland production.
Nah, he's not the worst. Off the top of my head I can think of Pauly Shore, Kevin Costner, Shaq (he wins for worst actor ever), Bill Pullman, Steven Segal, Jean Claud Vandam, Arnold Schwartzenegger (although he's so bad he's good) there are others but I'm too tired to think right now.

I think Jake Gyllenhaal is pretty good at what he goes for. Yeah, Mark Wahlberg is pure terrible though. Matt Mconhgdfshdfjhsdfhey isn't so bad at doing the 1 character he always does. He doesn't have much range, but at least he's bit bad at his typecasted characters.

Oh hell naw, don't you bash any Sutherland! He's paid his dues being the "redneck" intolerant asshole in a lot of his movies. He's awesome for 24, and it went on for a long ass time limiting him in roles he could take.
He's along the lines Christopher Walken in that he almost never turns down a role offered to him, which I think is pretty admirable.
Just going to lock as it's very, very old and has gone off-topic.
The results from the poll are pretty clear too.
