    Talking True endboss of cata

    I was last thinking bout this: the old gods make deathwing mad.
    isnt it an idea to make n'zoth ( old god that blizzard annouched at blizzcon ) the final boss? They can make a quest chain that link him to deathwing.

    It's possible but very unlikely. Yogg-Saron could have been the final boss of WOTLK but sadly he was wasted away in patch 3.1 (should have been 3.2 at least). Blizzard said they won't wanna do the mistake with Kil'jaeden and Illidan again. Illidan was supposed to be the final boss of BC, but delays with WOTLK forced them to bring out Sunwell and Kil'jaeden which was a good idea. Too bad though they did not do again. A whole year with icecrown citadel was a pain. No, I don't count Ruby Sanctum with only 1 real boss as a proper raid instance.

    I don't think we are ever gonna have a old god as the final boss of an expansion. Perhaps for the 5th expansion.
    4th expansion: Queen Azhara.
    5th expansion: ???
    6th and possibly final expansion: Sargeras

    People still consider LK the 'end boss' even though Halion the Twilight Destroyer came afterwards.

    So couldn't the same thing happen in cata? Deathwing is the end boss but along comes a small raid with Nzoth in afterwards?

    That was good imo. Bringing Kil'Jaeden after Illidan. I don't understand why Blizz doesn't want to do that. Imo its better than what they did with WOTLK, Bringing out a boss as powerful as Yogg-Saron and then bring out the lich king.
    Yogg-Saron is an Old God.
    Old Gods rival the Pantheon.

    Arthas was only just able to beat Illidan.
    Then fused with the Lich King
    meaning at best he is about as strong as Kil'jaeden/ Archimonde (although I doubt it).

    Blizzard said they want multiple raid instances to come with each patch, because they want more raids that are shorter. Firelands and Ragnaros are confirmed for 3.1. There might be even another for that patch. Grim Batol raid and Death are probably for 3.4. Neptulon or N'zath could be for 3.2. If Neptulon is not fought in this expansion, he is saved for another. I don't think he is a "good" elemental lord.

    It would be all kinds of wrong to have the Emerald Dream as a little content patch rather than the expansion it deserves. Expand the story in Cata, add some quests with Malfurion with a few phased portal areas inside, leave it off as a pre-launch or something for the Emerald Dream EXPANSION, considering Blizzard has been working on it since before BC, I'm almost positive they won't completely scrap it, but it could be coming another Azjol-Nerub.

    I think the cataclysm release patch is still 4.0.3a and 4.1 is Firelands. At the start of cataclysm we get 3 raids (throne of 4 winds, twilight citadel and blackwing decent.) 4.2 should be wota. And n'zoth is the old god of the emerald dream correct? Don't think he will make his appearance this expansion only to make the item puzzle box of yogg saron pretty much useless after we face him.

    The fact that there is and old god in the dream, and the nightmare still exists and that the emerald dream is the size of azeroth. I don't think its going to be a patch.

    This was never the case, Sunwell and Kil'jaeden where always planned to be the last instance and boss of TBC. Do a little googling rather then believing what you read on here.....
