I laid last episode of Nanana off till today and the finale was damn satisfying. All the characters were just so colourful, especially the MC who was like a breath of fresh air. Hell, initially Tensai ticked me off, but I grew to like even her.

Also "I want to find my killer and kill them with my own hands". Nanana, you're one hardcore gal.

The only thing that can escape Tensai is her straw !
It's too bad we probably won't see another season of this. Was a great set of characters and a cool story, the treasure toons animation was badass.

I'm of the opinion that a lot of shows do mature after 3-6 episodes, I also think that it's unfair to drop a show based off the first 1-3 episodes unless it's obvious landfill, which is why I use my strategy. I let other people find the maturing point for me instead.

This is what I do. I watch 2 or 3 things that I know I'm going to like (Fate, Psycho-Pass, etc), then keep an ear out for other things for consideration, both here and elsewhere. Saves me time, given I don't have much and I really only get 1-2 days a week to splurge anime. Usually too tired to come home and do anything other than sleep/write to unwind.

I'll make sure your eyebrows don't just simply strangle you to death.
I'll make sure that Shadow writes every detail about them instead burrowing their way into your throat and tearing it apart from the inside.

Naruto is a gateway anime of the worst kind. It's a bad series, a clusterfuck of story and characterization that isn't very well done by any aspect, but which attempts to compensate for its weaknesses by adding in excessive shipping faggotry and DARKNESS. The normal anon can see this as the shit it is, and may enjoy it, hate it or be indifferent to it, but all the while recognizing that the series itself, regardless of their opinion, is plain bad.

However, these very aspects that try to smear over the shit of its core make it a breeding ground for aspie, unsociable underageb& faggots who engage in every kind of faggotry both online and in the real world. The superpowered characters all trying their hardest to look cool, the jutsus, peculiar, colorful clothes, the whole ninja faggotry and everything about the Naruto world fuels their escapist fantasies, while the pity-party character backgrounds, emphasis on revenge, and overall preachiness of the series make it fit just right with the mary-sueish drives of your average preteen and his sense of unwarranted self-importance towards the world. Exactly the kind of shit that makes little kiddies and underageb& retards eat this shit right the fuck up.

Naruto is basically THE series to attract the most hated anime fanbase.
