I'm productive this morning and I miss a discussion on disgusting foods. Sad.

Worst thing I've had is "muktuk" or raw whale skin and blubber. My uncle worked for the Drug and Alcohol wing of Alaska for a while, and he had to visit a lot of villages for his work. Since the tribes are allowed to hunt certain things still he was gifted a few interesting items (they can't be sold), like walrus tusk ivory and...muktuk. And so he brought me some when he visited. And it was gross, with the ability to move up and down the back of one's throat for half an hour before settling into the pit of my stomach.

Moral of the story: eating muktuk is about the same as eating mukluks, but with more butter.

Some of the colors clash a bit, the dark purple and black and then the sudden bright fluffy colors. That part is odd, but I can't deny my love for megukas.
