Also for bleach manga spoilers Kurotsuchi is the bomb, he has done so much in this arc its unreal hes getting more screen time then fucking ichigo lmao. Oh well i always liked his character. Hope the zombies can go back to being normal or something.

I know I probably am wrong with my guess, it is quite stupid, just tossed a random idea out.

The logic is that the shield hero /class/ is inherently weak, not the guy himself. No amount of levels will help and shit like that. They need a way to beef him up, but can't give him a weapon or anything - so they decide to give him the "Curse Series" which I bet your ass is some sort of Magia Erebeaesque pseudo-evil powerup. To give it to him they need to make him hate everything, so the princess proceeds with her genius plan: betray the pussy and make him miserable!

Tanuki girl manga spoils or rather just spectulation. One of my theories is that, the Curse Series is the evil/dark that will soon come to the land and any of the heros could have gotten it, but there was a way to make the curse appear on a selected target by making him feel like shit or something. That or the person who has the curse ( and only one gets the curse ) has to die when the evil/dark dies to keep it sealed away forever. Its rather stupid but just something i thought of
