Yeah. I wasn't confused about anything happening in Death Parade, just irritated about the fact that the characters in the first episode shared a very similar story to the guy from Death Billiards when they could have pretty much done anything.

They could just as easily of done the dart game with characters that had a different back story. I don't see why they needed that specific issue between the two to showcase that. A doctor who commits suicide because he lost a patient due to his own error, and a mercenary who was killed in battle. One saves life, another takes it. Go from there. Bam, there's one possible choice. An otaku who dies from playing an mmo for 48 hours straight, and an idol who's killed by her stalker fan. Both exist in opposite worlds. Explore the issues they each face. There's another. They literally could have done anything. Instead they essentially rehashed the guy's story from Death Billiards.

True, it would have been interesting, but you have to see it from the viewpoint of people have haven't seen Death Billiards, since that's what they're going for. I agree others would have been better, but I can't complain with this one.

Maria the Virgin - Oh they referenced Joan, awesome. I was wondering if they were going to do that. Using her French nickname though, La Pucelle, was pretty cool. I guess that means this is taking place somewhere between 1432 and 1453, post Joan of Arc.

No DLC, and 15€ for basically an HD resolution mod you could get for free.

Just buy it off of GoG with all the DLCs for half the price and install the mod for free.

Koufuku Graffiti 01 - I feel like I was somehow massaged by an anime episode.

Finished Hyouka. The show kinda dragged on but the mysteries were nice - although some of them were too easy. Still better than the mysteries/riddles in other shows, like Zankyou.
I did expect the show to be mainly about them finding out what happened to Chitanda's uncle, but that was solved in ~3-4 episodes. Kinda disappointing, since that was the most interesting arc.

Oreki was also a good MC, one of the better ones I've seen so far. Comfy character-driven show.
