ah yes, kira vs the bird man. The next fight is Hisagi vs Findor if im right. That is to this time still the best fight of the whole show imo.

And Syn, it aint a filler its the real story. Yeah, im quite the Bleach fan. The first series i started following when i actually knew what anime was ^^

edit:no it wasn't that be either Shaman King or mayby keroro gunso.

Theres a "birdman" in one of the fillers aswell though, but yes, the Hisagi vs Findor fight is still one of the best :P
