This show has some truly deep themes. What if the world on brink of WWII was attacked by an inhuman threat and forcibly brought together to combat the enemy? Is violence the only answer when communication seems impossible? Do females below the age of 30 really need lower body garments other than underwear?

Inou Battle - Overall, I gave it a 7/10. It wasn't really anything mind-blowing but I actually really enjoyed it. I liked that it didn't focus too much on the Fairy War and was instead more about how the main characters just lived their lives after getting their powers. I do think there could have been a bit more about the Fairy War but I think the series ended with enough to make you want a S2 to see what they do with it. Music was ok, I guess. Art and animation had a few slips here and there, from what I remember, but decent for the most part, imo. It also had one of the best scenes of the YEAR (imo, ofc) with Hatoko. Who is, ofc, best girl.

Yeah, I'd happily watch a S2. Though I wager I'd be better off reading it for now.

All I can say is good luck finding translations for the LN cause there is none and the manga is only up to 2 vols and isn't full scanlated either.

I've always pictured them just reading the script in some closed off room recording it without actually looking at the movie itself. As for the distorted music, I imagine some random malaysian guy thought it would be funny to mess with the sound settings while music was playing, and then it accidentally got into the actual product.

I didn't want to call in sick on short notice and I try not to skip days anyway since I get relatively well paid for the easy work that I'm doing.

Yeah, well, if I went late I would have to stay longer and the pay is shit for me anyway so... yeah.
