But even then, both of these socially inept loners suddenly becoming a couple would be pretty shitty. They aren't even that close, and since the LN is ending in ~1-2 more volumes, it would feel pretty rushed.

Also the anime seems to not have mentioned why they went to the amusement park - to gather reference material in how to properly arrange a christmas themed event for Iroha and 8man's project.

I've only read the first volume but it does seem to be rather obvious that he'll end up with Yukino if with anyone at all

Yeah I guess an implied eventual pairing over an actual pairing would make the most sense. I'm hoping to catch up with the anime this week sometime before the next episode. About half-way through volume 6 right now.

On an unrelated note, the Unison Square Garden - Sugar Song To Bitter Step CD is pretty great. Signal ABC is a fairly weak track, but Tokyo Scenario is good, in particular I like the guitar riff and Sugar Song to Bitter Step is just awesome, of course.
