Unable to View any chat channels

Just curious if this is happening to anyone else yet, since logging in this morning, I've been unable to view or participate in any chat channels (guild/party/trade/local/general/customs/etc..) I'm told via vent that they can see what I've posted but I'm unable to view my own posts and cannot see any replies. To go over some other info
- I am not using any add-ons for chat
- I've reloaded my UI
- yes I'm finished downloading the new patch and it is finished installing
- I haven't pre-ordered cata yet but I'm positive that has nothing to do with this issue and primarily revolves around lack of funds lol
- I've set all channels to default
- then back to my custom settings
- then back to default again
- and now I come to seek the aid of the interweb trolls, please bless me with thine wisdom

Ok - If anyone else encounters this issue ~ DISABLE GEARSCORE ~ problem solved, who would've thought GS addon killed your chat. Issue resolved.
