I have a quick question. I noticed on the front page, that it was stated by a blue that it could be days before a certain zone was hit. My question is: Will each zone only be struck once? or will he just randomly show up in any zone at any time, even if he has been there before?

I'm Not sure so dont take this as official but I think deathwing will attack zones constantly throughout cata meaning you can get this feat of strength untill he is killed in game officially

I have read before that Deathwing will be flying around toasting zones until he is first killed on your realm. I don't remember reading anything to do with how the zones will be hit though, but trade chat will be going crazy when it does.

I'm pretty sure it will just be when patch 5.0.whatever drops.

Well afaik Deathwing will continue to do this thruout cataclysm. On the beta He killed me in Uldum.

Patch 5.x anything will be the xpac after Cataclysm. I suspect Deathwing will be dead long before that.

Arthas wasn't that bad he came out every now and again and if your ally he likely one shot you at least once in howling fjord.

Me thinks you don't understand how patch numbers work and what is being said.

Let me give you an example. We are now in patch 4.0.3 to prepare for Cataclysm. Lich King was released in patch 3.3 (if I recall correctly). He died in the same patch. That said, Deathwing will be released in a 4.X patch and die in a 4.X patch, well before we hit the 5.X patches for the next expansion. Same with with patch 3.0 and Illidan.

That all said, a Blue stated that Deathwing will fly around toasting zones until he is killed for the first time on your Realm. Plenty of time.

Perhaps, once Deathwing dies on each server, this is when it truly becomes an unobtainable Feat of Strength.

Ask the majority of the players, and they will say that blizzard is forcing the lore in different paths.

And this feat of strength will remain for the entire Cataclysm on my server. Since people will obviously not bother to kill him on an RP-realm.
