WoW in 10 years?

Hi ppl.

Well, let's take a look into the future and assume that WoW still exists, like now.

Which TECHNICAL improvements can you see?
Not anything like game-content, new classes/races etc.

But something like technical adaptions.
For now, I see that 3D television is coming, so I can think of playing also WoW in 3D.
Or maybe a Wii-style gameplay.

What ideas could you think of?

With the current engine? I personally, Key word there, Think they're pushing it to the limits with cata. So until they update that...Well, Goodluck tweaking a vintage car to do 200MPH Without actually removing...oh yeah, the engine. You can make it go damned fast, But...Well, You get my PoV.

3D Hologram projection room, in which you literally are your character, and your character does everything you do.
Fun, and better yet, all the overweight players get some exercise, and maybe even achieve normal weight!

You do realize that by making it anything like Wii/Kinect, 90% of the worlds best players will either become horrible or quit the game outright.

Honestly, I doubt it'll be the main stream MMO anymore. I think it'll be like Everquest is now.

People seem to be forgetting the new MMO, That..will likely leech a lot off wow...And at this rate? It'll take another 10 years to pop out

It'll probably be near dead. It'd be sad to log on and see a once prosperous game with less than 1000 people. For some reason I'd feel kinda sad if WoW died.

I honestly don't see WoW being played in 10 years. I see their next MMO having been out for at least four years come ten years from today.

They already have 3D monitors which you can play WoW on, but Holographic would be bad ass.
