Thread: Vista UAC

    Vista UAC

Easiest way to explain this is:
I had WoW installed in C:\Program Files(x86)\World of Warcraft\ and it got moved to desktop, so I moved it back to the original place. When it was first in C:\Program Files(x86)\ it didn't ask me to allow it through UAC, but now it is after my little mishap. How can I make it not keep asking again?

Bad idea to disable UAC. It's benefits outweigh it's annoyance. I only turn it off when I am installing a bunch of trusted applications at the same time (ie just reinstalled windows).

I just added an underscore at the end and now it doesn't pop up with the UAC prompt.
The thing is the underscore wasn't there before.

I still find the Win7 UAC annoying and disable it immediately. It's definitely not something an average user should do, however.
